Working with various wire gauges from 2mm up to 10mm in mild steel and 2.5mm to 8mm in 304 grad stainless steel, using state-of-the-art CNC wirebending machines, we can produce wireforms in all shapes and sizes, as well as straight cut lengths, single prongs, eurohooks, and much more complicated items. Mild steel products can be plated, painted or plastic coated. We usually produce directly from customer drawings or from samples.
We generally stock the following gauges for wire forming. It should be noted that there are tolerances in the drawing of wire around +/- 0.05mm.
Mild Steel
2.5mm, 3mm, 3.15mm, 4mm, 4.75mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 9.53mm & 10mm, with 10mm being the maximum we can work through our CNC machines.
Powder Coating, zinc or chrome plating and LDPE plastic coating (outsourced if needed)
Stainless Steel
2.5mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm & 8mm, with 8mm being the maximum we can work through our CNC machines.
Electropolishing and Powder Coating (outsourced if needed)
Pre-Galvinised Wire
Usually used in single piece outdoor products such as tent pegs, netting pegs and hooks.
