We stock UF edging to suit most of the above products.

Generally these come in at 8’x 4′ panels and we stock them in mild steel, galvanised and 304 stainless steel. Most of the aforementioned are available in 1/2″ x 1/2″, 1″x 1″, 2″x 2″, 3″x 1/2″ & 3″x 1″, though other configurations are available. The wire use in these panels is generally 12swb (2.5mm) or 10swg (3mm), apart from the 1/2″ x 1/2″ which only uses 1.5mm wire. Some thicker gauges up to 6swg (4.75mm) are available in these formats. Just ask.

These can also be cut & cropped to size on our guillotines.

As the name suggests, these are woven, like cloth, and usually used for filtration,. They range from very fine wire, 0.065mm, with very small apertures 0.102mm to 1.6mm wire with a 6.84mm aperture. The stainless grade we stock is 304.

We stock 4 different sizes of chain; 3 x 16, 4 x 19, 5 x 21 & 6 x 24, where the 1st digit is the thickness and the 2nd the length. These come in either a bright zinc plate or black powder coating.

Trapping is an effective way of controlling mink. Live capture using a cage trap is the most appropriate method because it avoids the risk of harming non-target species when shooting. It is easy and humane and allows the easy release of non-target species such as the water vole.

Larsen traps is used to catch all corvid pest species (i.e. crows, magpies, jackdaws, jays, rooks), and their particular value is in catching crows and magpies when they set up their breeding territories. The Larsen trap has a separate compartment for a ‘decoy’ bird, which is then seen as an intruder in any corvid area in which the trap is placed.

This trap requires no baiting and the run through design allows the mink to enter the tunnel trap during its normal behaviour during the hunt for food. The mink simply walks onto the central plate that triggers both doors to then spring shut.

Prop the trap up with a wooden stick or a full bottle tied with string, leaving enough string so you can hide a few feet away and hold the end of it. Bait the trap with plenty of food just in case cats you don’t want to trap wander in before your target.

Trapping Rats mean catching Rats without the use of Rat poison and producing the Rat live which can then be released You can also use electronic pest repellers, which although excellent at ridding Mice from properties, sometimes struggle to drive out Rats.
